Connie Heng is currently Clifford Chance’s Head of Capital Markets in Asia Pacific and in November 2020, will be the firm’s newly-appointed Regional Managing Partner for Asia Pacific. During her 20-plus year career, she has helped many Hong Kong and Chinese issuers with their securities offerings in the international debt capital markets and has advised on many landmark transactions. Connie has also represented the firm at the World Economic Forum in Davos since 2012. In addition, she is an active supporter of inclusion and gender issues, founding the Firm’s first women’s network in the region and is on the board of the Karen Leung Foundation, the only Hong Kong charity focused on the prevention of gynaecological cancers. She holds a BA in law from the National University of Singapore and lives in Hong Kong with her husband and two young daughters.
